Consensus: An agreement without bias

The consistent thing about standards is there are so many of them. Standard approaches to obtaining an agreed consensus for activity historically requires large amounts of toing and froing between interested parties, over long periods of time and in many cases, returning no consensus or bias consensus when the power of an individual or consortium uses their power of authority over the others.

Trial by jury or other anecdotal phrases, doesn’t work well when permanently changing data from its current form to a new immutable structure. It’s time for some clarity about consensus mechanisms, and how these are built within the Gospel Data Technology Platform™ and how these maintain a level of consistent, authorised and auditable data access and adjustments.
